What to Expect  

I believe that a portrait session is not just about the final product, but it's about the experience during the photo shoot as well.  I do my best to make my clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to express who they truly are.  I strive to capture a person's true character during the photo session.  

During the booking stage, we will determine which package best suits your needs.  We will also discuss a location and time for your photo shoot.  (Keep in mind, early mornings and evenings before sunset are most ideal.  Shooting in broad sunlight in the middle of the afternoon results in harsh shadows.)   Then, a few days before the shoot, I'll contact you to confirm your appointment, and we can discuss any last minute details.  

After the shoot, and depending on the package you've chosen, you can expect for your pictures to be completed and uploaded within 1-2 weeks. During post-production, I can do as much (or as little) as you want. I can whiten teeth/eyes, remove blemishes, fix smiles (especially when babies/kids aren't always  cooperative!), change lighting, layer images, airbrush wrinkles, remove scars, smooth acne, etc. Images will then be uploaded to Flickr, which gives you the freedom to share, download and print as many images as you'd like.  

All packages include a free sitting fee for one person. There will be an extra charge of $5.00 per additional person who will be in the pictures. As you can imagine, the more people in the pictures, the longer it takes to shoot, edit, and enhance. (Example: for the standard package, a family portrait of 4 would be $200 plus an additional $15 =$215)
